A very unique one for us here at still. This limited release is grown in El Salvador at a farm named Finca Ethiopia, (farm Ethiopia) this pay homage to the birth place of coffee. But what’s unique is this varietal is in actual fact sl28. A varietal native to Kenya.
Grown at 1950-2150masl this is a high altitude sl28. Typical of what you would in fact find in Kenya. We find this extremely transparent in the cup. Bright, juicy and clean. What further elevates this cup is the fact it’s hydro washed. Which is an intense washing to preserve clarity. This translates to the final cup. But it far from tastes like your normal Kenyan coffee. The rich soils of El Salvador elevate this cup adding a unique spice in nutmeg. We could of released this as a Christmas special.
